Year End 2016

It's been a long time since I wrote in this journal. A lot of things happened this year. I have met a lot of new people, fell in love with the wrong person, another part of our family left without saying goodbye and made new friends.

This year has been a blessed year and hopefully 2017 will be awesome and one of the goals in my checklist will be ticked. I have learned a lot in 2016. I learned to step out of my comfort zone, to socialize with other people but as of the moment it needs more work. I know God is helping me go through this change.

This year we moved to another house again because the owner is going to make the apartments into a residential house. We went back to the house we used to live in, the only difference is we will be living with other people(boarders), our house feels like a dorm at the same time it still feels like home because the people we live with are so warm and they are like family.Me and my sister disagreed at first with living with other people but we have no choice, we have to do what is needed and we just have to adjust cause if we did not do that we will end up shorting our budget for our daily expenses.

I also learned a lot of things this year. I learned to understand people, to share and to love. I have been studying the bible that is why I have learned so much and also I learned a lot of things from people, life lessons and testimonies.

I also learned to be brave and confess what I really feel and to share what bothers my heart.
When you confess what you really feel you get different answers, some say sorry and others just left you hanging and wondering what could be wrong they could not respond to you. The best lesson I've learn this year is how great God is and His love could never be compared to anyone.

Here are some photos that will always remind me of the people that made my 2016 AWESOME

Envy and being self-centered consumed me

Hey! It's been more than a year since I last made a post in this blog. I have been very busy with my life, enjoying and doing something different.

Recently I just started realizing stuff...a lot of stuff in my life.

I remember one night I was watching this movie(Miracles from heaven), I was crying so much and my mom looked at me and said why are you still crying the movie is already over. I answered, "We have been through a lot and I keep asking myself why are this things happening? I know we are lucky that we made it through more than a 2 years without papa and I really wish I can bring back the life we had back then.", she answered "don't rush things, God has plans". I just don't realize what could God has planned for us.I keep on questioning why can't I have the things I want, I'm doing everything I can just to get it but why does it keep on getting harder and harder to reach. Also, every time I get jealous of people that is living the life I wanted and having the stuff I wanted and it just drains me. After the conversation me and my mom had about me being in a rush and being materialistic, it just suddenly hit me, I felt guilty and started crying more. It felt as if I lost faith and I lost all hope. I was full of envy and I felt I was being drained and consumed by it. I wanted things to go my way and have the things I want. I never really prayed for material stuff, I never asked God to give me this and that, I remember praying one day that I will follow whatever plan He has for me. I was so guilty that I said it to Him but I'm not actually doing it, I mean it felt as if those words I said back then never really meant anything to me but just words. I cried so much and kept asking why. After a few months I started going to this new church with my mom.She has been active in studying the bible together with her new church friends. We have this talk about what she learned and I told her I used to tell her about those things and she told me it was different when she heard it from other people and I replied of course it would be different when it comes from other people because the things I tell you I have not been able to apply it in my life, I just read it and understand it and still learning to do it in my daily life. It is hard to do something that you do not usually do. After a few months I started to read the book(The Purpose Driven Life) that our teacher back in high school want us to read for 40 days.
I started reading it a few weeks ago and I saw that I just lasted for more than 2 weeks reading it before. You have to read it one chapter per day as you need time to reflect on each chapter. One night I was trying to think about my life. I remember my mom kept telling me how I was so self-centered and I finally realized why my mom keeps telling me that. I never really thought about anyone other than myself, I never really cared about anything other than myself.I remember me and my mom having this talk of how as a child the only love I felt was from her and I never really felt any love from my other relatives most of all from my dad and his family. The only time I felt that my dad loved me was when I get sick. I never really knew my dad. He was always busy, I never get to talk to him much and I know when I was a little girl we use to travel to his hometown just the two of us. I never really talk to him cause he was busy driving.I even told my mom that the only time I felt any concern from my dad's relative was when my aunt asked me to eat breakfast and that she would cook for me and what egg do I prefer sunny side up or scrambled. I never felt part of my dad's family,I never felt accepted and loved.

LG Pocket Photo Printer

I got this from an event on the facebook page of Medical Korea (thankful that I was lucky enough to win this cause this is quite expensive for me and would take a lot of months of saving for me to be able to afford to buy it). Below is the picture of pocket photo printer.

I guess It's called a pocket photo printer for a reason and it is not the size of the gadget but for the size of the picture it prints.

The package contains the printer and 10 pieces of zink(zero ink) photo paper and USB charger/connector.

Pros

  •  Portable
  • Cute design
  • good for printing pictures to give out whenever you are at any occasion
Cons

  • not really a pocket-size printer
  • can only print one photo at a time
  • expensive
if you are looking for a printer to print a prize winning photo, this is not the printer to use because the quality of the photo seems as if it's filtered. It's best used for photos you just like to keep as a memory or for scrap books.

Overall I liked the printer because I can bring it anywhere I go cause it is light and wouldn't be a hassle to put in any bag. Also, I like the app it uses to edit photos, its easy to use and install.

My projects

I have currently stopped creating websites since I have a new job and right now I kind of miss creating simple websites using PHP.
Here are some of my projects in the past. One of them can still be actually seen online.

Hotel Reservation Website

Dental Appointment Scheduling Website

Wordpress Created Website for a BPO company

I had help in creating the websites and applications. With the right team of developers nothing is impossible and creating a website and application would just be easy.

I kind of miss doing this kind of stuff.
I should have edited the screen caps though as it can be seen I am quite addicted with the sns facebook and playing games on bluestack, well we need to release some stress from time to time LOL XD

Stuff I got from Online Events...

Its been a long time since I last posted here in my blog.

This past few months has been full of financial problems, that's why I have been very busy because I've been looking for ways to earn money.

I don't want to talk about my problems...I'll just tell you about the cool stuff I have received from online events I've joined.

Stuff  I got from Buzz Korea...
A calendar and tumbler, both are from two different events.
The calendar was nice and full of facts about different places in Korea that tourist usually visit and it comes with a sticker that you can use to mark the important dates like holidays and birthdays.

Last January my Kcon 2014  B1A4 signed poster from MWAVE arrived after months of waiting.

This February 11 my Line Deco Character Doll arrived and I was so happy because its the first prize that I received that I never have to pay for any tax...They sent the prize from a different courier/forwarder. Happiness lalala~

This is all I can post right now.Next time I'll post about the Web-based programs I made back then and the website I helped in creating. You can visit the website here .
